What is real and true about the movie “10.2”?

The USGS has prepared several pages dealing with questions and issues raised about the movie.  Links may be found here and here .

Virtual Times
This complex site has many links and graphics (such as clickable maps of different regions), so allow a few minutes for it to load. This is a good way to stay up-to-date and many of the links have photos of the regions, or eruptions (sometimes a bit of real-time film!!).

The Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network offers a a page run by Steve Malone  His page contains many links to seismic information for regions in the U.S., as well as Europe and Asia. He also has a few links to seismic data associated with volcanic activity.

Seismo-Watch offers this site for quick earthquake information
