data from the GOES-9 geostationary satellite; includes the big island of
Hawaii (Kilauea, Mauna Loa, Hualalai) ... The
satellite scans Hawaii every 15 minutes - so, these data are usually about 10
minutes old! There are three different movies showing the development of
hotspots, and cloud motion.

Additional sites include information concerning earthquakes
and tremors:
A volcanic tremor
bibliography This site also includes a new database on volcanic tremor
parameters (more than 700 references!!), available in a number of different
formats.
The Global Volcanic Earthquake Swarm Database This is another huge (more than 600 entries) database of earthquake swarms at 150 volcanoes around the world from 1979-1989. It includes basic information on volcanoes, specific eruptions, and swarm parameters.
Two other resources that may be used if you are writing a paper on volcanology include: a short textbook by Robert Tilling and a "Learning Web" site on volcanoes run by the U.S. Geological Survey
